Should the Emmy Awards have different category format? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I would like to see the Emmy Awards separate Over the Air, Cable, and Streaming for their awards. So each existing category would have three different winners. Each based of the delivery process that the shows are sent.

For a year or two in the 60s, they did away with the drama/comedy and other categories and just gave out "Meritorious Achievement" awards to the best shows, whatever the genre. Since they've reached the point where can't tell "The Bear" from a comedy, I've been wondering if they shouldn't do away with those distinctions again.
