Please help! My boss (who thinks she knows everything, duh) says that there was a MOVIE about the Flying Nun, but did not star Sally Field. Please, won't some brilliant trivia king or queen come to my rescue? I do not think there was a movie. Please, anyone, HELP!

Not that I know of BUT there was a Gdiget movie with Sandra Dee.

Thank you! I tried to tell her that a) she is insane, b) she is thinking of Gidget, but she won't believe me! I know that this is not of great importance in the grand scheme of things, but I just really, really don't think she is right, and it is ALWAYS fun to let your boss know they are WRONG!!!!

I think it was based on a book of short stories , I remeber hearin that somewhere but I can't quite remeber , it might even be in the closing credits of the show look for it next time , cause I'm pretty sure it's a book .

The Flying Nun was based on book(s).

It was based on the book "The Fifteenth Pelican" by Tere Rios. It's in the closing credits.

Oh..I thought you meant a UPCOMING one. There was a movie before the show but after the book THE FIFTH PELICAN, and that's also the name of the movie.
