Hi everyone, I am finally on. I was so excited to find the site that I could I died, and been up there with Freddie himself. I thought I was the only one who felt the way I feel about him. And, believe me no one else can understand my fascination either. Thank goodness Chico is finally on TV again. I have been taping the episodes everyday, but I am very sad there are no more with Freddie. DeDe--girl I would like to talk to you. If he bought me a bottle of perfume, I would have had the thing bronzed!! I visited Freddie's grave in California almost 5 years ago, and sadly, that is the closest I ever got to him in this life time. I love Club Hubba Hubba too. You guys crack me up, and you also have made many of my days. I hope Freddie would laugh and smile at us all. Oh, by the way, HBO was around in the 70's. Freddie did a show for them. It also featured a very young Jay Leno, Richard Belzar, Swoozie Kurtz, Elaine Boosler, and another comic. I bet it was 1976. I cannot get enough of my Freddie!! Talk to you guys later!!

Welcome Vicki39 - this is such a neat message board to share your more secretive
thoughts and questions with. We're all in mourning these days due to the fact the there will be no more episodes with Chico in them until TV-land starts showing them over again. (Thank heavens for VCRs!) I wanted to share something funny that happened last night. It was my husband's birthday so we went to the Olive Gardens to eat. My son's girlfriend who is a beautician was with us and she said the other day a woman she didn't know came in to get her hair done. The woman in talking casually mentioned that the other night she couldn't get to sleep so she turned on television and she said a show called "Chico and the Man" was on. Now she's hooked and she has fallen for our Freddie just like the rest of us. He is simply irresistible. I wonder how many more women out there don't realize he's on now and what they're missing. |

Not just women admire Freddie. I am a male (not gay) and I've never forgotten about him either. I've taped every episode from the Fandemoniom weekend and I've also got the Freddie Prinze E True Hollywood Story on tape followed by the Ed Talks to God Episode...

I know there are many admirable qualities about Freddie Prinze - those "extras" that the females admire and those that the male population admire. My sons' think he is a great comedian and terrific actor. You are so right Croiter! I only wish he were here
today and I bet he would have won many oscars, tony awards, etc. |

Seeing the shows again have been like a walk down memory lane. I was a preteen/teen during that time and life was good! I would love to visit Freddie's grave someday- it would be great, but very sad, too... Welcome, Vicki!! Glad to have another Freddie fan on board!

Welcome & have fun! I'm probably more a fan of the character of Chico than Freddie as I know all about Chico & not much about Freddie LOL! Freddie made him so real & believeable. I wish he were really Chico so he could be here today. There are lots of guys who dig male stars. My hubby is Elvis biggest fan.

It's not just those of us that remember the shows when they first aired that love Freddie. My 15 year old daughter is starting to come around. We were getting ready to watch the show the other night and I heard her sigh..."He's sooooo cute."
I think Freddie would be tickled to have the younger fans dig him and his work. |
