One of her later roles was playing a crazy senile grandma on Raising Hope, she was great at it (unlike The Facts of Life where she was just boring). A few weeks ago my mom and I saw Cloris on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show where Gabe Kaplan and Marcel Marceau were the other guests. She definitely did not seem normal making a big deal about a hair she saw on her outfit and other strange comments. Seemed like real senility or drug influence several decades before Raising Hope existed.

Probably stoned, since I seen her on later interviews and she appeared to be really competent.
