In the pilot episode, Rick is the station handyman. From the second episode to the last, Joe has the job. There’s no explanation as to where Rick went, nor is there any indication that Joe is a new employee. So, what is your head canon for the cast change? This isn’t behind the scenes, as we know the answer to that. This question is about in the world of the show, what happened?
