Thumbs up How Many Versions of the Christmas Shows are There???

I watched the Christmas show Sunday morning on WGN!!! The one where Al is going to the Cunninghams for Christmas dinner and he tells Fonzie about the Cunninghams thinking that he was alone for the holidays and Fonzie told Al about his Christmas with the Cunninghams!!
My question is this: I know of 2 episodes of the Christmas show, the one I'm talking about(from 1976),and another one where Al talks to Chachi about Fonzie's Christmas(from 1977),but why haven't they shown the other two(The Original from 1974,and the one with Arnold and Fonzie from 1975)???
This seems to be a good question!!!

Bravesfan I tried sending you an e-mail, but your e-mail address didn't work. Here is the Happy Days Chirstmas episodes.

There were 5 Christmas episodes. This is from the web site www.tvtome.com.
27. Guess Who's Coming to Christmas?
gs: Robert Casper (Orville) Marjorie Bennett (Mrs. Harris)

A drawing of a snow-covered Cunningham house opens the show. Joanie asks if she can have some of the Chipmunks over, but Howard wants it to be a family-only Christmas eve. Chuck comes over to bring his laundry home and leaves a sweatsock on the Christmas tree. Richie, Chuck, and Howard go out to the driveway and try and fix the mechanical Santa Claus. In the next scene, Fonzie comes to Arnold's and brings everyone presents. Fonzie gives Marsha a locket that says "Your the ginchiest". Potsie tries to invite Fonzie over for a turkey dinner, but Fonzie is planning on a bus trip to visit family in Waukesha. Howard and his employees have a party at Cunningham Hardware. Howard and Richie have car problems and Fonzie fixes their car and turns down their invitation of coming over for the evening. As Richie goes back to the garage to give Fonzie his present (a 3 in 1 wrench), he sees Fonzie sitting alone eating a sandwich and ravioli out of a can. Howard and Chuck decorate the tree, and Richie mopes around thinking about Fonzie. Richie and Howard go over to Fonzie's apartment and try to convince him to come over to the house and fix the Santa. Fonzie is able to fix the Santa and then the Christmas tree lights which were not working. Fonzie misses his bus, pops some popcorn in the fireplace, and then reads "The Night Before Christmas". Richie takes a picture of Howard with Chuck and then Joanie and Fonzie look at a viewmaster. The family sits down and Fonzie says grace, "Hey God, thanks".

b: 17-Dec-1974 pc: 034 w: Bill Idelson d: Frank Buxton

NOTE: This episode features the first shot of Fonzie's apartment. This is also Chuck's last episode, although he is mentioned again later in the season. When this episode was rerun in either 1975 or 1976, there was a newly shot intro where the Fonz prefaces the story, mentioning that Chuck was home for the holidays in the process. This is the only time that Chuck was referred to in the 3rd and following seasons. It was re-capped/re-run twice with a Pat Morita (Arnold) episode and a Al Moliaro (Al) episode.

This really can't be considered a major Christmas episode
74. Richie Branches Out
gs: Vern Rowe (J.B.) Paulette Breen (Angela)

Marion pulls out the Christmas ornaments and Joanie strings popcorn. Howard pulls in a Christmas tree through the front door while Richie comes in the back door. Howard talks to Richie who has fallen in love with a Wisconsin Cola girl on a poster. Richie tells Howard about his dream, he doesn't know what to say to her. Fonzie laughs at Richie. Fonzie receives a call in his office. Richie pulls out some articles on the girl to show Fonzie. Richie and company go to the Kwiskel Model Agency to get the girl's telephone number. They act like hardware businessman and talk to JB. They show him a map of future Cunningham Hardware locations. Potsie comes in as Mr. Tool and Richie thinks they have found Mrs. Tool, Wisconsin cola girl Angela Buvay. Ralph suggests Bess Myerson, former Miss America. JB closes the door with his remote control. Richie wants her to come to Arnold's after she is done shooting a 5 day deodorant commercial. Howard tells Richie about a call he got from Angela. Angela arrives at Arnold's where Richie has a camera and Fonzie is talking to him. Angela dresses as Mrs. Tool. She does various poses as Richie takes pictures. The Christmas tree falls on Richie and he admits he is not a professional photographer. Angela says she is flattered and almost engaged to a medical student. Richie tells her about his dream and she kisses him. Fonzie returns and asks Richie if it was all worth it, and he says yes. Fonzie's present to Richie: the Polaskey twins.

b: 07-Dec-1976 pc: 076 w: James Ritz d: Jerry Paris

131. Christmas Time
gs: Eddie Fontaine (Vito Fonzarelli)

It's Christmas time and Marion and Joanie bring in some bags with presents through the kitchen door. They have presents for Mother Kelp (100 proof) and Uncle Ben (handkerchiefs). Joanie goes to the front door and finds Richie all bundled up and freezing to death. They take him to the fireplace to warm up. Howard brings in the Christmas tree, an artificial aluminum tree. Richie answers the door and meets a man who is looking for Arthur Fonzarelli and is carrying a package. Fonzie is at his place with some girls wrapping presents. The man (a sailor) brings Fonzie a package from his father Vito Fonzarelli. The girls leave. The man says he met his father at a bar in Singapore. Fonzie tells him that he has nothing to say to his father. Richie talks to Fonzie. Fonzie shows Richie the gifts (rings) he is giving out to everybody. Fonzie doesn't want to open the package. Richie and Lori Beth enter Arnold's arguing about the amount they were spending on gifts. Richie's gift to Lori Beth is from Pfister's Jewelry Store. Ralph and Potsie leave upset at Richie. Fonzie shows Richie a blue tie he is giving to Howard, he will give Al a green tie. Al tries to turn the lights on the artificial tree and it blows up. Lori Beth and Richie apologize to each other and Lori Beth gives him a pen set. Richie gives her a less expensive present and then they kiss. Howard brings home a real tree, and Marion also bought a tree and then Richie brings a tree followed by Fonzie and they have a small forest in the living room. Everyone opens one present on Christmas eve and Fonzie opens his from his father. Fonzie reads the letter and he identifies himself as the man who delivered the package. Richie reads the remainder of the letter. Fonzie feels great now that he understands it wasn't his fault. Fonzie receives a robe from the Orient. Ralph and Potsie bring a Christmas tree for Joanie. They bring Richie a hockey stick. Al also brings a Christmas tree.

b: 19-Dec-1978 pc: 132 w: Beverly Bloomberg d: Jerry Paris

173. White Christmas

It is the night before Christmas. Marion waits for a call from Richie while Joanie wants to spend the summer in New York with Jenny Piccalo.

gs: Richard Paul (Dick) Sue Ann Langdon (Belle)

When Heather asks Santa to patch up the rift between her mother and her grandparents, Fonzie decides to make her wish come true.

The one with Al that flashbacks to #27 has been shown in syndication, I taped it about 12-13 years ago. This episode has Al and Fonzie at Arnold's at the beginning, then it flashbacks to #27 and basically shows that episode in its' entirety. I'm not so sure about the one with Arnold though, if anybody has it I certainly would be interested in trading for it.

It doesn't have the intro with Fonzie though that I can remember, I think that was only shown when it was first aired.
