2014 TV-movie with Austin Butler - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

With the recent success Austin Butler had with his Elvis movie we thought to bring up a TV-movie he starred in titled "Cyber Nightmare", in which Butler plays Cody Weible, a senior at an East Liverpool,Ohio high school. After receiving a laptop for his birthday Cody becomes an unwilling and unlikely target of bullying by several of his schoolmates, who hack into his account and start an anti-Cody site. All this eats away at him and his spirit. Also starring Marcia Cross as his widowed mother Mary, Kelcie Stranahan as his younger sister Allison, and Aren Buchholz as Scott Hervey, one of Cody's tormentors. First shown in 2014.

The film also features Sage Testini as Reid Dennison, one of Cody's friends and teammates, Mackenzie Porter as Ilene Morrow, another friend of Cody's, Mikael Conde as Glenn Loughran, another friend and teammate of Cody's, Kevin Kilner as his Hockey team coach, Keely Purvis as Darla Emmons and Marc Donato as Jake Buckelew, the latter two being Scott's friends and Cody's bullying tormentors.
