Remember Tommy LaSorda as Slim-Fast's spokesman?

We know Tommy LaSorda as one of baseball's legends but when he wasn't playing baseball he did commercials. At the start of the 90's Slim-Fast approached him to become a spokesman after having success with Slim-Fast. In 1990 the very first Slim-Fast commercial with Tommy LaSorda debuted and featured Tommy talking about how Slim-Fast changed his life forever. Based on that commercial alone Tommy LaSorda became Slim-Fast's top spokesman and would continue to do more commercials for Slim-Fast until 1996 when he was replaced by various celebrities promoting Slim-Fast. Slim-Fast must've paid Tommy LaSorda a lot of money to do these commercials and he probably planned a world tour with Slim-Fast to be a motivational speaker telling people how Slim-Fast worked for him
