It's my favorite show but I haven't watched it in a while and felt like revisiting it. I'm in season five and just finished the Johnny Johnson trilogy. A thought occurred to me. Jimmy James was facing up to 50 years in prison if convicted of being D.B. Cooper. As it turns out, in the courtroom, Adam West (Batman) admitted that he was actually D.B. Cooper, which cleared Jimmy's name. It's never stated in the episode, but does that mean that in the NewsRadio-verse, Adam West went to prison for life, lol?
