Airplane crash over Washington DC

This really is a sad tragedy. Passenger airplane and military helicopter colliding last night killing all 67 people, as airplane was about to land in Reagan national airport. I just can't imagine how family members and friends feeling after losing lost love ones in this tragedy.

I been thru Reagan airport couple of time when visiting Washington DC and that airport is always packed being located in nation capital. Apparently the air traffic controller was short staff, and some the staff were doing double duty monitoring both airplanes ad helicopter traffic. And helicopter pilot might also be at fault here as flying too close to airport's landing and takeoff airplane traffic flow.

I heard they told the helicopter to change course BUT THEY DIDNT!!

It was probably miss communication between the tower and helicopter. They say the helicopter pilot was a seasoned instructor and they probably were on a training mission with two other people aboard. He probably got sidetracked supervising the other two trainees.

Also a plane crash in Philadelphia today that was really bad! Saying prayers !

It is very tragic indeed! It was a Jet Rescue Air Ambulance that crashed shortly after take-off.

A U.S. Air Force pilot was reported to be safe after a single-seat F-35 fighter jet crashed Tuesday during a training exercise at a base in Alaska.

The pilot experienced an “inflight malfunction” but was able to eject from the aircraft, Col. Paul Townsend, commander of the 354th Fighter Wing, told a news conference. The plane crashed during the landing phase of the flight at Eielson Air Force Base, he said.

Three plane crashes in a week, that sounds very suspicious!
I'm sure an investigation will now have to look into all 3
for any similarities.
Possibilities of having communications jammed or control of aircrafts jammed.

Yes! Texting with family that live in Philly. Two cousins live right near there. They say it's really bad, are in shock. And it was just a little while ago they were worried about me here in California with the fires. Now I'm the one all concerned for them.

And the DC crash was horrible Many prayers! Hoping February is a better month!

United Airlines plane 'catches fire' at Houston airport on takeoff.
The plane was able to successfully abort the flight and circle back to airport for safe landing.
