Remember the ep where Goober was tricked into believing his dog, Spot, could talk? I think Spot possibly was Max and 99's dog Fang on Get Smart.

There's a similar question at Miss Crump's BB.
Get Smart is not mentioned but apparently Spot is the same dog as Blue, Barney's bloodhound, and Floyd's dog. It is also mentioned that he is Tramp on My Three Sons. That's four roles right there so maybe he played Fang as well. Maybe he was the default dog. |

If Spot is the same dog as the one from My Three Sons then he isn't Fang. Fang was non-show biz dog who (if I can refer to him that way) had never been a "regular" on other tv shows. In real life the dog could hardly be trained to do anything but that was perfect because as an "AGENT" for CONTROL Fang could hardly do anything either. But the Get Smart production crew soon found filming with a non-talented animal too difficult and the dog was soon dropped from the show.
