"Bell ringing sound effect"
"Rice A-Roni The San Francisco Treat" "Rice A-Roni the flavor can't be beat" "One Pan of boiling cooking ease" "A flavor that is sure to please" "Rice-A Roni The San Francisco Treat" "Bell ringing sound effect" This jingle many of you know started the debut of a new type of entree that is still a huge seller today and many people still buy it. That is Rice-A Roni and the jingle is another one I found off my Teevee Toons The Commercials album and the debut commercial for Rice-A Roni is very cool with people singing the iconic jingle while riding a cable car through the streets of San Francisco. Thanks to this commercial Rice A-Roni became a hot seller and continues to sell strong today. Over the years Rice-A Roni has spun-off many different entrees including Noodle Roni and Pasta Roni which made it's debut in 1995 and has added many different flavors of Rice A-Roni which are still sold today. Believe it or not I used to be a fan of Rice A-Roni but i'm not so crazy about it now but my mom and dad often eat it sometimes with their dinners. But this commercial is a classic in itself |

Here's a short TV commercial jingle that has now been forgotten, from the same company, advertising Noodle Roni -- which is now Pasta Roni (changed name of product):
"Noodle Roni Fettuccini A taste of old Italy...!" |

Hawkee, from what I can find online, Noodle Roni went back pretty far, even to the mid-1960s....! I can remember for sure buying it in the late 1980s.
Anyway, the name was indeed changed in 1995 to Pasta Roni. I make it occasionally because it's so easy to cook - I like the shells & white cheddar best. |
