Wink Substitute Teachers

Our school gets the weirdest ones. Our band-sub was pure evil. She was always screaming at us and telling us we were coming in late. Also I am one of two french horns in the band and she was litterally yelling at us, and the trombones, saying we were playing the song wrong but we were playing it right. The next band practice she said that she realized that the french horns were only playing the piece wrong but what she really wanted to say was "You French Horns suck get out of my band you are not musical enough for a great opera singer like me!!!" Ok english sub-> He was this guy and somehow someone asked "what do you do for a job?" and he said that he was an Opera Singer, was on Broadway, and was a costume designer for Tracey Takes On (HBO SPECIAL) and operas. He also mentioned he lived in NYC for 8 years....The thing that I didn't get was why he was subing for a school in upstate New York, he said "He was living in (UPSTATE NY CITY WHERE MY SCHOOL IS) for personal reasons" Then there was the math sub who brought her own lawn chair to the classroom, even though there were already chairs in the classroom. Ok anyone else have weird substitues?

o, we have some weird ones....

history last week- the phone rang and she spent about 10 minutes looking for it. "are they calling me?" "is there a phone here?" "what class is this?"

english two years ago- the sub was on the computer and it was out of paper...we're like..why dont you put more paper in...but shes like "no! theres something wrong w/ it. i have a degree in fixing things!" and she starts sticking a pair of scissors in the printer and beating on it..... it was the strangest thing... she broke the printer btw

Thats really funny! I am sort of scared of some of them though I mean someone who claims to be a costume designer and was on broadway..substitute teaching? That doesn't seem to make sense.

I had a weird history sub once.He made us grade an assignment by guessing what the grade was.For instance if the owner of the paper finished 3 pages of the assignment they would get a "B." It was confusing.

I've had this one sub a few times over the past few years that looks like mr. Bean, talks to himself like a crazy person, picks his nose, and never knows whats going on.

LOL, cant agree with ya more. I had a sub in English today, and man... the majority of the class was napping, chatting, throwing paper balls at eachother. Sure she told us to stop, but, unfort. we didnt listen.

You should be ashamed! Watch out because an Evil Sub with a Lawn Chair, Costumes, Scissors and a Printer, who picks his nose may be coming to your school.

OK, we had a sub who couldn't find the school and called the cops and got a police escort to the school! We didn't have a sub for the whole hour and the only reason the office people found out was because the sub called the school. She showed up during the last two minutes and we all made fun of her.

We have this one sub...he's this guys dad....he was our sub all the time in MS an now since his son's in HS, he subs there. He claims they pay more...*shrugs* So anywayz, he's got this odd way of talking...he's like "Take out yer writin stick and a piece a papyrus." He's fuunny. He has like half a pinky....so he was telling us what an oxymoron is and he's like "Jumbo shrimp." he held up his half pinky and he goes "Shrimp." and he held up his whole one and said "Jumbo shrimp." It was great.

In 7th grade our Englishy teacher broke her foot and was gone for a while....we had this EVIL sub and we drove her out of the classroom. She was literally next to tears. She's like "I am NEVER EVER going to sub for this class EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!" The next day....we had the guy up there ^^^^^.

We have one who whips out her guitar and plays "Oh Susanna". We also have one who yells @ us non stop, he called Alex a boy and couldn't remember that Jackie was @ a lesson.

We also had John Lawlor (Mr. Bradley on FOL) as an English sub last year.
