Carly Simon has confirmed the 2nd verse of You're So Vain is about Warren Beatty (but not the whole song like he thinks). First and third verses are about two other men who she will not name. This bit from Google speculates on who they could be. Jack Nicholson strikes me as totally arrogant, and I could see one of them being David Cassidy or Mick Jagger. James Taylor does not seem the type at all.
