(Ricky notices that Lucy, while drunk and drinking beer, is being lowered right when everyone shouts: “HAPPY NEW YEAR!)

Lucy (while inadvertently dumping beer on people drunkenly and off-key sings loudly): “TO ALL ACQUAINTANCE BE FORGOT…”

(Later on at home, Lucy is sobering up. The Mertzes are right by.)

Lucy: “I never saw Ricky so mad.”

Ethel: “He was loudly cursing in Spanish.”

(Ricky comes home all smiles.)

Lucy: “Ricky, is that a smile I see?”

Ricky: “Yeah and it’s because it’s because of you. Take a look at this image on my IPhone.”

(Lucy does and cries. It’s an image of her from the night before with the headline: “DRUNKED OUT RED HEAD ON NEW YEAR’S!”)
