I can't believe it's only going to be on once a week during the weekdays, that sucks! It looks like FT is moving further, and further down the line for N@N. Unfortunately I have a feeling the next Family Ties update wont be that the time has changed once again, but that it is no longer going to air. I think all of us fans better get out our tapes and start taping the episodes we don't have, because this may be our last chance.

What is with Viacoms obsession with Kids say the darndest things? Its on TNN like 4 times a day, why in the world does it need to be on N@N also?? All it does is take up space that could be used for another show. It can't have that many epsiodes. Family Ties is a much much better show, and it never got a time slot it deserved. Plus they are cutting it to only one episode on the weekdays? I think when it started it was on at 10. Then it moved to 1, then 2, then 4. What next? Take it off and put Kids say and the Cosby show on all night? Maybe they should move FT to TNN and show it 2 hours in a row, that would be better.
Sorry, Just venting.

Well, come November, TNN will no longer be airing Kids Say, which explains why it's suddenly back on Nick at Nite. I mean, why don't they just air Kids Say on the weekends? I've never been a major fan of Family Ties, but it really sucks that Nick is keeping Cosby and Cheers on FOUR TIMES a night, while Three's Company, Coach, and Family Ties (and Charles in Charge) get just one measly airing. Nick needs a serious overhaul. Here's a good idea on what Nick could do (keep in mind, I WANT DIFF'RENT STROKES back, LOL.....) I know this isn't a DS board, but I really don't see why the Bradys had to return instead of DS, ugh, lol.

(THIS IS JUST A DREAM SCHEDULE GUYS!)
SUNDAY-THURSDAY
9:00PM Diff'rent Strokes
9:30PM Family Ties
10:00PM The Cosby Show
10:30PM Coach
11:00PM Cheers
11:30PM Three's Company
12:00AM All in the Family
12:30AM Diff'rent Strokes
1:00AM Family Ties
1:30AM The Cosby Show
2:00AM Coach
2:30AM Cheers
3:00AM Three's Company
3:30AM All in the Family
4:00AM Happy Days
4:30AM The Brady Bunch
5:00AM Charles in Charge
5:30AM Kids Say The Darndest Things

Somewhat like the Nick at Nite of old when the same schedule was repeated late at night, with a few different shows mixed in. Just a schedule like that, or something similar would be great.

I must add that schedule is 1000 times better than the one thats gonna be on Nick at Nite. Maybe we should all go to be programmers there.

Thanks! I thought it was good as well, LOL. Yeah, isn't it funny how the fans are better programmers than the "officials" networks hire? Amazing. I would kill to be a programming manager at TVL or Nick at Nite. But remember, in the minds of the programmers, airing double takes is much easier than being CREATIVE, lol, you know. It's just easier to put shows back to back. I find it fun to move shows around, etc. Call me crazy...

You know what really gets me about Nick at Nite? They always talk about how the reason for airing certain shows so seldom, or at a certain time is in large part because of low ratings. Well how the heck is FT suppose to get high ratings when it's played at 4, or 5:00 am? I know it was played for a month or two around 9, or 10:00 pm when it first came to N@N, but how is a widely unknown show suppose to bring in a large group of new viewers if it's only on at a respectable time for a little over a month? They talk about how the Cosby Show gets the highest ratings in N@N history, well of course it does, because it's an established show. Before N@N aired it it was on like 2 or 3 other stations atleast 4 times a day, probably more. Family Ties was only on TBS from like 4:00 am to 5:00 am on the weekends. In order for the popularity of a show to grow, you have to give it time, and let it find a new audience. I think someone needs to tell that to N@N!

It almost seems as though Nick At Nite is doing this in blatant oposition to viewer response.

I'm glad KDOC is airing it.

I watch it every Friday from 3-330 am. Wish they would leave well enough alone! I really can't stand it when the cable networks keep playing musical chairs with tv shows.
