ABC FAMILY ANNOUNCES 'ABC+'
A NEW PRIME TIME PROGRAMMING BLOCK PREMIERING SATURDAY, OCT. 26 FEATURING ABC SERIES

Lineup Will Include "Life With Bonnie" and "Less Than Perfect"
Catch Up on the Previous Three Episodes of Each Series Prior to ABC+ Premiere


Burbank, CA (October 17, 2002) - ABC Family is launching a new Saturday prime time programming block branded ABC+ it was announced today by Angela Shapiro, president, ABC Family. The block is designed to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look, exclusive interviews and featurettes, of ABC programming not found anywhere else. Beginning Saturday, Oct. 26 (9:00 - 10:00 PM ET/PT) ABC+ will feature LIFE WITH BONNIE (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) and LESS THAN PERFECT (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT). (Editor's note: ABC Family will air the episodes of each series seen Tuesday on ABC, as part of ABC+ on Saturday.)

"ABC+ offers great programming as well as an enhanced viewing experience," said Shapiro. "From talent interviews to behind-the-scenes footage, ABC+ will offer viewers exciting extras not available anywhere else."

Catch up on the previous episodes of LIFE WITH BONNIE and LESS THAN PERFECT prior to the premiere of ABC+ with three back-to-back episodes of both hit series Saturday, Oct. 26 (6:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).

* Bonnie Hunt brings the same accessibility she brought to the films "Jerry Maguire" and "Jumanji" to her new family series LIFE WITH BONNIE, in which she portrays Bonnie Molloy, a woman who juggles the roles of wife, mother and host of a local morning talk show. The series previewed September 17 on the ABC Television Network and ranked No. 1 in its time period delivering 16.1 total viewers and posting a 6.0 rating/16 share with Adults 18-49. Produced by Touchstone Television.

* Sara Rue stars as Claude Casey, a temp who has moved up in the secretarial world of television news, from permanent floater to the anchorman's assistant, in LESS THAN PERFECT. The series premiered October 1 on the ABC Television Network and delivered 10.4 million viewers and a 4.3 rating/11 share with Adults 18-49. Produced by Touchstone Television.
