It’s from the last page of the Chico and The Man board
https://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards...r=desc&page=58 New Years Day, 1970. I assume it was tried on Windows ’67. Not much to click on, but it did get 324 views. |

There's no thread there. I deleted it. I've noticed it happen a few times. Some threads didn't import correctly when we switched from UBB to vBulletin in December 2001. Some older threads have disappeared due to server glitches.
The Chico and the Man board was hopping back in those early days. This is the first thread in our history on February 3, 2000. https://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=1 |

The unix time epoch was midnight on January 1, 1970. If a date is deleted it may default back to 0 and display that date. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_time
Either that or there is a time traveler visiting the site. I'm gonna assume it was a time traveler since that's a lot more interesting.

I think Unix still lurks in the background of many computers. On Macs and PCs, particularly when there's trouble, you are sometimes directed to go in and execute commands that appear to be part of that old Unix code and format.
