Default NBC Classic Channel

Wouldn't it be cool if NBC could create their own cable network in which they only show classic NBC sitcoms, and dramas that were once part of the NBC legacy?

With shows like "Facts Of Life," "Diff'rent Strokes," "I Dream Of Jeannie," "Golden Girls," "Saved By The Bell," "Seinfeld," "Friends," "ALF," and so many others... NBC Classic would be a major ratings success.

In my opinion NBC Classic would be MY perfect channel.

NBC will be very smart if they created a network like this one.

Much like FX created by FOX, where they air smash hits like M*A*S*H, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Ally McBeal etc.
That would be great if NBC could follow along, like airing the shows you have listed, I think it would attract more viwers to NBC and an NBC Classic Channel.

An NBC Classic Channel would be awesome! NBC is my favorite network, I would love to see all those great shows again. This would definitely become my favorite channel, especially since N@N is no longer reliable for a good lineup.

I could be wrong, but I don't think NBC owns the rights to all of those shows. I think NBC would have to buy the rights from whomever owns them to air the shows. Again, I could be wrong. However, it wouldn't be a bad idea for every network to do that. Maybe even create the exact lineups the way they were when they originally aired.

I would love an NBC classic channel, so then I would be able to see Empty Nest and Wings, if they aired them.

If NBC was to have an NBC Classics channel it should be only RARE shows because we all know that before long they will start airing Friends and Scrubs and that would turn it into sort of N@N so there should a rule that the shows have to be only 1-4 seasons long OR not on TV anywhere else

Some of the shows I would like to see on the NBCCC would be:

COMEDIES
The Facts of Life (Like Everyone Else)
Empty Nest
Cheers
Night Court
The Golden Girls
Nurses
Seinfeld
The Cosby Show
Blossom
ALF
227
Amen
Mama's Family (though it ran on first run syndication, it's still a member of the NBC family since it first aired on NBC)

DRAMAS:
Homicide: Life on the Street
Sisters
LA Law
Law & Order
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
Providence
Hunter
