I have a couple and I wonder if anybody remembers them. Both were aired on CBS
1996 I think a show called "Lenny" 1997 "Bless this House" with Andrew Dice Clay As I recall I thought they were both funny. They must have made an impression if I remember them. |

Lenny starred comedian Lenny Clark (when he was thin) as a working class joe who held two jobs, one of them as a doorman of a hotel.
Wasn't too crazy about "Bless Ths House." Just couldn't see the Diceman as a family guy. You were a little off on the year for Lenny. That show aired in 1990-1. Come to think of it, both shows would probably have been pretty good paired up together; both had the same blue collar working class scenario. |

what about that classic "Manimal"? who could forget that? what about Ralph Waite's "Mississippi"?, which i actually loved but it's time-slot was bad and i guess nobody wanted to see Mr. Walton living in a boat on the river solving crimes? Waite played a guy named Ben Walker. Larry Hagman would revive this concept in 1997 on the very short, short-lived drama "Staying Afloat". i saw some of the shows but it wasn't what i was thinking it would be. Hagman looked too much like Gavin MacLeod in that ship's captain attire and you couldn't keep a straight face no matter how you tried!
