I don't know. That's always been one of my favorite pieces of in incidental music, too. You knew that something really crazy was brewing.

I don't know the name of this piece of music but it reminds me a little of Apache, a big hit instrumental that was out around 1960. That piece of music was very influential at the time and Bob Bain a very well known guitarist who had a couple of albums worked on the Hillbillies series providing music during the first season.
