Default Beverlee McKinsey was a beautiful lady and great actress but

She was obviously not altogether a great lady in private life.
Here is why:
1. Two divorces
2. Was dishonest (when she left Guiding Light)n she claimed she knew like a lot of people who wanted to quit the show as well. How could she possibly know that many malcontents? She also lied and said she wanted fewer hours to have to work what a lame excuse to quit! She obviously wanted more money and could not get it. A couple of fewer hours they'd have easily granted her. She also lied cause she said she did would not speak ill of GL but look how she claimed they were overworking the actors on the show and her claim so many GL actors wanted to quit all in the same interview.
3 She put too many actors out of work after quitting 'Texas' as the show lost viewers and soon folded.
4. In an interview she referred to some ladies as bimbos.
5. She thought she was too great to go on good old time talk shows (cost her fame).

I loved watching her very much but she was very flawed and not always nice.

One more thing. In an interview she lied and said that she was going to try sitcoms now that she was quitting GL. But she never did any such show after that soap.

She died 13 years ago and now you complain about something so minute? Where's your sources? Even if any of this is true it's hardly worth mentioning.

She is excessively well-remembered at like Youtube. Also, she was one of the most perfect ladies ever in showbiz or anywhere. I will get source shortly. Did you remember her death off the top of your head or did you look it up?

More links later. She lost her third husband to death. She claimed to be miserable without him. It was possible than loss drove badly inside. Sad. She was not totally nice before her marriage to him but maybe he was her main man and his loss could've resonated loudly to her so upset was she.

If you type her name in quotes at imdb.com you can see her several marriages. Newspapers.com (available by a free trial subscription) and you can read many articles written on her after typing her name in quotes there too. Remember to spell her name just correctly "Beverlee" not "Beverly".

Back to her questionable nicenesss. She was raised in Oklahoma by veryreligious Christian folk. She read the Bible a lot--even magazines and books showing the Bible's incredible history accuracy and archaeology strongly supporting it. How was this great beautiful lady not kinder? Did she overplay and excuse herself with Adam's fall from grace in Eden?

She played quite a villain on Another World for years.

I do agree, though--wondering where this came from all of a sudden. I will say I either didn't know she had died 13 years ago or forgot.

RIP, a bit late!

She was definitely a formidable woman, as her former co-stars can tell. Most of her former co-stars from Guiding Light speak of her very fondly, while admiting she was one tough cookie who didn't suffer fools lightly and spoke up for herself. She rather famously used an obscure clause in her contract to walk off Guiding Light when the executive producer rubbed her the wrong way. It was a huge loss and shocking to her co-stars and fans alike! She pretty much went into retirement after leaving GL, save for a guest stint on General Hospital. A great actress who is certainly missed.

Say, 80's do know why the very great Bev never appeared a second time on 'Hawaii Five-O". She made the greatest acted and even hottest appearance ever on the show in 1969. Why did she did not get invitations to come back for more work on the show? Or was she invited back and just not come?

^I'm not certain. I know she did quite a bit of episodic television during the mid-to-late-1960s, making guest appearances on many other popular TV dramas of the day, including MacMillan & Wife, Death Valley Days, Cannon and The Mod Squad on the West Coast, before re-locating to the East Coast to star on Another World in 1972.

Ok. I have long wondered why the greatest lady to appear never came back. Meg Foster-who was close to being as great-came back again to 5-0.
