Question So, what would ya'll have done?

Just saw the ep where Richie could've won $5,000 on the game show where they gave him the answers. I don't know if I would've had Richie's wherewithal to resist the temptation to cheat, but I'd like to think I would've. What would everyone here have done? Thrown the contest or taken the answers?

I couldnt pick either one!!! LOl. Ive got such a guilty conscience that Id breakdown. But then again-- money speaks. $5000 is a lot of money, but if it was much more than that, then Id probably do it. But then Id have to give some away to charity or whatever to make it feel like Im doing good with it.

I would have felt really quilty if I had known the answers and took the money. But then again, if I really needed the money or new someone who needed it just as bad, I don't know. I just don't think I would do it.

Me Too. Its not really cheating, They WANTED You to win it. If you got the answers from some guy out back and you were cheating the Show out of the money i wouldnt do it. But heck, If their giving ya the answers i dont see whats wrong with it.

I'd take it because it's not really cheating. Why you ask?
What happned is the show (and many shows like it) just wasn't what is was portrayed to be. Instead of being a competive game show, they would just keep the people who were getting ratings.
A storyline.
It's all their decision and it's just business. If they're getting ratings with me and want to basically just give me the money, that's their decision and I'd be happy to take the money.
Cheating would be if the show was legit and you STOLE the answers without anyone knowing.

Yeah, I agree that it's not really cheating but he didn't steal the answers. Still, it's a tough decision, but I think I would use the answers and then donate the money to charity.
