Joan Van Ark is the latest 80s primetime star to join a daytime soap.

She will play the role of Michael Baldwin and Kevin Fisher's mother. Her first air date is in mid April.

Lorenzo Lamas and Linda Grey recently signed on to Bold and the Beautiful after successful primetime runs in the 80s.

I was just surprised that a tv star like she was would go to daytime but I guess I shouldn't since Joan Collins who was a bigger star already gave daytime a try.
