General Hospital
In 1963, this show's lovely little Helen Hunt was born! So was Lisa Kudrow who played a marginal character during part of this show's run. That means that this year, they both turn fifty! Well, I would say that, at least in the United States, the most famous event of 1963 was the assasination of President Kennedy. Another event that I learned about a while back was the law that made optional prayer in the public schools illegal according to the federal government. Well, I was in the supermarket today and I saw a magazine cover that really caught my attention! It said that the TV show known as "General Hospital" turns fifty this year. Because I am not a big soap opera watcher, I did not buy the magazine. However, right before I came to this site, I looked it up on the Internet. Sure enough, the show made its debut in 1963! That means that Helen and Lisa are the same number of years old as "General Hospital"! What do you guys think of that reality?
