Anyone else watch GH? Lillian Lehman plays Dr. Meadows!!!

I never watched GH myself - I was a As The World Turns guy back in the '80s - but I do remember being at a friend's house when GH was on one day back in the early '80s and I was surprised to see that John Amos was on the show!!

In fact, I kind of felt sorry for him - I mean, going from a Norman Lear prime-time show to...daytime TV?? Fortunately, his career recovered and he became a well-employed character actor in such films as Die Hard II.

I didn't know he was ever on GH!!! I've been watching for the last 23 years!!! Of course I did go through some periods where I wasn't watching it.

Esther Rolle was on "One Life to Live" in 1971 before she started playing "Florida Evans" on "Maude".

She played "Sadie Gray" the second one. It's funny, though. Both her and Erika Sleazak wound up playing replacement characters in 1971. Esther left the "Rolle" within that same year and Erika is still playing Victoria Lord Buchannan Davidson to this day.

Yep, that's what makes soaps so great, the long-running characters!!! I get so upset when someone leaves the show, lol

Yeah, I know. They are killing off Vik's grandson "Duke Buchannan" and "Evangeline" is going to go blind.

Well it sounds like these charcters are having some "Good Times" moments...only they are rich or highly successful/ LOL. It goes to show, you can be poor or rich and still have your problems.
