Lou Pinella is leaving the Seattle Mariners. He wants to be closer to home which is in Tampa, Florida. First Griffey, Randy Johnson and A-Rod, now Lou.

Actually, he's got one year left on his contract, so if any team wants him there gonna have to trade for him!

It looks like Lou Pinella is headed to New York to manage the Mets after all. It sounds like the Mets will give up Timo Perez and a pitching prospect.

Aye, aye, aye...why would one want to leave the budding team of the Seattle Mariners to come over to the Mets where the fans don't accept the team unless they make it all the way and the players aren't motivated.

...Maybe I'm just biast cause I hate the Mets.
