Default I had no idea this was being debated, but....top sheet or no top sheet on your bed?

So I was surprised to find out yesterday that apparently like half of the world doesn't put a top sheet on their bed. I thought that was just the STANDARD bed dressing, fitted sheet, top sheet, then bedspread. I couldn't imagine NOT using one, as the bedspread gets too hot, but without it, it gets too cold often, the top sheet provides that perfect in-between a lot of the time.

Do you all use one or not?

Apparently a lot of people, as it's being debated, and since this is pretty much a free-for-all chatter/topic forum, I was just curious, so I just WENT FOR IT and posted it

Bed frame, box spring, mattress, sheet, blanket, pillows (with an s, do need 2). All I ever needed. Never heard of a top sheet.

The top sheet would go between you and the bedspread/blanket or whatever you call it depending on your region

The sheet is more comfortable against your skin. Why would you want the scratchy comforter to touch your skin? I don't get it. I don't care what other people do, but why would you not want a soft sheet next to your body?

I agree. Also sheets get washed way more than blankets. They are cleaner on your skin too not just softer.
