This is very sad..... The internet has ruined the world. Unfortunately I dont know if its possible to stop it. So long are the days where a neighbour on the block would just throw a house party and people would just show up and walk in.

As I watched for the first several decades- Family, friends and school remained in the top spots. Then the last ? 10 years FFS were pushed to a low low %. and Internet suddenly popped out of nowhere. I suppose in my grandmothers time people played pianos, board games and attended church socials.- TV changed all that. I don't know a soul who has a piano.Every generation changes!!!

These metrics are based on what exactly? The person in the video provides no stats to back up his proof and doesn't even talk.

I didn't watch the vid, but I do miss the "old days" when families would sit around doing simple things, like playing boardgames, watching movies, chatting on the porch, but it seems like everyone is in such a HURRY and SO BUSY now days.... We talk faster, have shorter attention spans, lose interest in things SO FAST, etc...

I think one problem is, that no one doesn't know how to make good times, or doesn't care to. If it's don't know how, we all need to try. I am sure we have neighbors we don't know and one should make a cake or muffins and knock on the door and introduce our selves. I watch Hallmark movies and characters reach out. Sometimes you wonder what your neighbors life is like. They could be just like you!!

James:Tell me what your world is like. I did live in a world when neighbors did what I suggested. My parents and grandparents lived in world when neighbors knew each other very well. How do you live now and are you happy? Sadly my town now has the highest population in the state for people over 65 and I am one them. Not a child in the area for miles. Very expensive to live where I live and million dollars house selling every day.

It's a different time. Not everyone wants to go door to door introducing themselves and sadly the real world isnt always like the movies.

I work long hours and the language barrier makes it difficult to communicate as most of the area where I live is Chinese now. I use Microsoft Translate when I have to communicate.

I'm friendly with a lot of my neighbors, but I don't really see them too much. I'm quite happy with it, they don't cause any problems.

No it's not? The United States' primary language is english. Why do I have to speak Spanish or another language in my own home? You don't go to Japan and tell them they have to speak something other than Japanese.
