Ever since the debut of Family Feud in 1976 it started a trend of game shows having questions in a survey format and I wonder if the survey format became a new trend for new game shows? A second show that was based on surveys and polls was Card Sharks and it too was successful but we wouldn't see another survey based game show until the 2000's with CBS's Power Of 10 with Drew Carey and I seem to think that these types of game shows are a making a return to TV with the Jaleel White hosted game show The Flip Side and they will replace the multiple-choice question/answer format that game shows used to use and this style is the game show of the future
