Why was Growing Pains theme song changed in Season 7?
I discovered that when Season 7 began of Growing Pains I discovered a new version of As Long As We Got Each Other was made and it appears that BJ Thomas and Jennifer Warnes did not perform it and instead Rockapella performs it and I would like to know why this was done? Did BJ Thomas and Jennifer Warnes choose not to perform the song anymore and Rockapella was chosen to perform As Long As We Got Each Other instead? This version of the theme song was only used for Season 7 of Growing Pains and I wonder why this version was used instead of the BJ Thomas/Jennifer Warnes duet version?
