Default Shows in the Same Universe

All of these character exsist in the same universe. Here's how:

Starting with "Perfect Strangers" in 1986. Harriet Winslow was a character on that series and starred in "Family Matters". Steve Urkel became famous on that show and guest starred in an episode of "Full House" and later "Step by Step". The cast of "Step by Step" guest starred in a Disneyworld episode of "Boy Meets World". Sabrina from "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" made a cameo on "Boy Meets World". Salem the cat from "Sabrina" made a time traveling cameo on "Teen Angel" and "You Wish".

Can anyone think of another show that is part of this television universe?

Cheers characters existed in The Tortellis, Frasier, Wings. Then Wings characters exist on the John Larroquette show and Frasier characters exist on Caroline in the City.

I just remembered that in an episode of "Chico and the Man", Chico walks into the garage and tells Ed "This is the last time we buy tires from Sanford and Son." Which would connect "CATM" to "Sanford and Son." Of course, "Grady" came off of "SAS". I only wish I could connect them to "All in the Family", that would bring in at least 11 more shows to the universe.

Here's a good one:

1. I Love Lucy/Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour

2. Ann Sothern Show or Susie (Lucy
Ricardo went to Susie's show and Susie was in the Lucy/Desi Comedy hour.

2. Make Room for Daddy(Danny Thomas) and Make Room for GrandDaddy (Both casts visited each others shows)

4. Bill Dana Show (Dana's character Jose Jimenez was on Danny Thomas's show for several episodes before he got his own show)

5. The Joey Bishop Show (Joey Barnes started as a one episode character on Danny Thomas).

5. Andy Griffith Show (Danny Thomas gets arrested in one episode of Make Room for Daddy in Mayberry by Sheriff Andy!!)

6. Gomer Pyle (from Andy Griffith of course)

7. Mayberry RFD (continuation of Andy)

So Lucy Ricardo, Barney Fife, Gomer Pyle and Sgt Carter are all in the same universe!! (mainly due to Danny Thomas). Can you see Aunt Bee visiting the Mertz's? Or Gomer singing in the Tropicana?

From my post above --I meant to say that the I Love Lucy cast visited the Danny Thomas show.
And the Danny Thomas cast visited the Lucy/Desi Comedy Hour.

Friends, The Single Guy, Mad About You and Caroline in the City were all in the same universe.

Thats 8 shows..... one universe

Are the Jeffersons and Good Times in the Same Universe? There was a magazine with the Jeffersons on the front Cover in a Good Times Episode laying on the table.

Well since Good Times is in the same universe as Maude which is a spin-off of All in the Family, which spun-off The Jeffersons, I believe they are in the same universe. However, since you don't feel Good Times is a spin-off, then I guess it would not be connected. I guess it's all in your views of the Good Times being a spin-off (or not being a spin-off) controversy (I feel I can call it a controversy due to the many, many, many posts about the topic).

BTW, I'm not going to take sides in the Good Times/Spin-Off thing, since I can see both sides and I hate confrontations.

As for the magazine in Good Times of The Jeffersons, there was an episode of I Love Lucy, where Lucy was reading a magazine with herself on the cover.

ABC just loved to put all their TGIF shows together.
