Nickel and Dime Candy Days

Anyone besides ME on this forum alive to buy Nickel Lifesavers, Reeds Butterscotch, Good N Plenty, and Hershey Bars, Clark Bars, Milky Way, Snickers and all the rest of the Nickel candy?

And the Dime Almond Joy and Mounds Bar??? These were for special times...A Dime??

These were the Days, and to think of all the dental chairs I visited for such Cheapy ca
ndy... And the dentists kids could go to college for $20-#30K....a year.

Yes! I remember all that good candy at those prices. Even the penny candy we got by the piece , Mary Janes, Root bear barrels etc. at the little corner stores ! Loved it, fun times !

Bonnie oh yes, we had a 5&10 in our little town and had jars of penny candy and I spent a lot of time in that store...

Then on this price thing, our movie theater in our town, one could get a bag of Fresh popped corn for I recall 15 cents...

Yes! And the movie theaters were huge and beautiful with the big screen ! . Double features , and delicious popcorn and candy at very reasonable prices. Plus safer back than, us kids could go in a group to a matinee . Siblings, friends all together without parents having to be along!
