When Charlotte Church made her debut in England at just 12 years old she was known as the "Voice Of An Angel" and when she released her debut album of the same name the critics were enchanted with Charlotte's talent and she went on to be a successful opera/easy listening artist. Soon after her single Just Wave Hello was featured in Ford commercials that also became a single from her self-titled sophomore album Charlotte Church was on a roll but after two more albums Enchantment and a Christmas album Charlotte Church switched to pop with her pop debut Tissues And Issues and after the release of her first pop single she disappeared. I think the reason why Charlotte Church switched to pop was they were trying to make Charlotte Church be like Britney Spears and she was known for opera and easy listening music when she started out but once Charlotte Church switched to pop she gained a new image and soon disappeared which is a shame because she had a beautiful voice when she started out
