When did Jack and Chrissy unlock those handcuffs?

I watched it last night (it was a funny episode) but did Nick at Nite edit the part when Jack and Chrissy got unlocked from eachother with the handcuffs? (sorry if this has been mentioned).... One minute they were supposedly h'cuffed together in the shower (clothed, of course!) and Chrissy pretends to be by herself, then when the cop comes back to get his hat he dropped in the bathroom, and Jack and Chrissy come out into the living room, the handcuffs magically disappeared. OMG that was so stupid of N@N or the writers... did anyone else notice this?

Janet ran to the police officer who dropped his handcuffs and then takes his keys and runs over to Jack and Chrissy to unlocked the handcuffs. This scene was aired on N@N because I taped it. Read the scene below

The cop who followed Chrissy and Jack from the Beagle finds out that Jack is hancuffed to chrissy inside the bathroom and then says " You two are coming with me" As they walk out of the bathroom-Chrissy's cousin (Jay), the police officer who dropped the cuffs, comes through the front door and that's when Janet runs to him and Says-"PLease Jay tell him that they are your handcuffs" Hope that helps
