I just watched this episode that was about two engagements, one was for Schneider’s family picnic and the other one for Max’s job. What I didn’t agree with on this episode was that Schneider doesn’t give Max his place. Max is now part of the family because he married Julie. Schneider is a close family friend, but honestly he needs to understand that Max is more family because he is now part of the family. I agreed with him when he changed out the door lock because honestly Schneider is overstepping his boundaries. He doesn’t live there, so he shouldn’t be coming in and out of that apartment like if he lives there. That is very annoying, that was one of the things that I didn’t like about him. Schneider needs to realize that he’s just a maintenance man and he needs to stay in his place. He’s not Ann’s husband nor is he Julie or Barbara’s father, he just a maintenance worker. That’s one of the reasons that I couldn’t stand him. Ann should have put him in his place to begin with. That’s just my opinion.
