I listened to a Martina McBride song called God's Will and when I heard the song it seems that it was inspired by a real life story Martina encountered. The song tells the story about a little boy named Will and the song was released as a single. Was there a real little boy named Will that inspired Martina to cowrite the song? The song God's Will is a very beautiful and touching ballad

Barry Dean and Tom Douglas wrote the song and so I guess that only they can say if it's based on a true story.
