Default I Found Out Chuck Woolery Was Not Wheel of Fortune's First Host
He was and he wasn't. Todd Russell hosted Wheel of Fortune way back in 1952 and 1953 on CBS. But this was not the hangman based buy a vowel and solve the puzzle game show we all know. Real life heroes and good Samaritans came on this Wheel of Fortune game show. They spun the wheel to determine what kind of reward would be given.
