Default She didn't get a Prenup before marriage and now pays her ex husband Alimony!😱

Woman gave advice to all Women who are getting married to sign Prenups. She said when she was engaged, she had a lot of credit card debt and owed about $40,000 in student loans. Her Friends and Family told her to sign a Prenup, but she thought,"Mike and I will be married until one of us does and I owe a lot of credit card debt and owed about $40,000 in student loans, a Prenup makes zero sense." She didn't sign a Prenup and got married to Mike. During the marriage, she became a VERY wealthy and successful CEO/Businesswoman. Her and Mike's marriage ended up being OVER, not because of death as she had predicted, but because of a DIVORCE. She becoming wealthy and successful made MORE than Mike did. So she now has to pay him about $2,000 every month in Alimony! My God! She warned women who are getting married to ALWAYS sign Prenups because you never know what could happen in the future. She said she hoped her cautionary tale would save other women going forward.

That makes no sense. Prenups are for people who get married with assets, not people who are broke. In your example, 95% of the time it's the man who becomes wealthy, not the woman. Prenups are written to cover what you have before you get married, not after.

Divorces do happen and so often in couples that are unsuspecting to have. I've seen a lot,Prenups are probably in order when both have large assets....

What you posted here doesn't make a whole lot sense. This is a recommendation from CNBC concerning prenups:

"If you have accumulated a certain amount of wealth and professional status by the time you marry (or if you or your spouse are drowning in debt), it is very important to consider a prenup".

That doesn't sound like the case here. But the details are also a little strange. Let's take a look:

You wrote:

"She becoming wealthy and successful made MORE than Mike did"

Here's the Federal Reserve's definition of wealth:

"According to the Federal Reserve, the median net worth of Americans in the 90th to 100th percentile is $3.8 million".

Now let's go back to your narrative:

"she now has to pay him about $2,000 every month in Alimony! 😱😳 My God!"

2,000 a month is $24,000 a year, for someone with a net worth of 3.8 million that's nothing. Her dues for her country club membership are probably more that.
