Cancelled "Power Rangers: Origins" Movie Trailer

Power Rangers Origins was a canceled American CGI-animated superhero film based on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It was licensed by Saban Brands and was to be animated by Zag Entertainment, the animation company best known for Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.

It was canceled for unknown reasons, though posters and character concept art continue to circulate.

The movie was never finished although from the trailer the movie would have been an origins story. Not much was ever stated from Saban at the time. Officially it was refereed to as Power Rangers 3D by Zag Animation Studio. An English dubbed trailer was released.

To promote the movie, a poster featuring Billy's ranger form was placed in the background of the Miraculous Ladybug 2014 Licensing Expo trailer.

Christine Finch released official background artwork for the movie on February 20, 2020 on the site ArtStation.

The poses and assets were reused in SAMG's Miniforce X.

The team retained the same members from the original five teenagers. The only known difference would have been that the five rangers would have had the ability to use energy attacks based off their zords similarly to the Zeo team. The only character who had any lines was Trini Kwan at the end of the trailer.
