What is Gilligan's name on the show? I found out everyone elses but I want his name, too to put him in a game I'm playing. Anyone know?

Well It wasn't revealed in any episodes but they told about it on some radio shows I believe as well as the Surviving Gilligan's Island movie...

That depends on who you ask: Sherwood Schwartz always maintained that "Gilligan" was a first name, but Bob Denver claims that Gilligan's first name is "Willy". (Though, frankly, first names would've just got in the way of the story...after all, NOBODY called the Skipper "Jonas" or the Professor "Roy"...their titles were their first names!)

Actually, "Surviving Gilligan's Island" states it as being the other way around: Bob always said his name was Gilligan and Sherwood insisted that if it ever came up, his name would be Willy.
Just sharing my nerdiness....and revealing the fact that I've seen that movie too many times. LOL.

I seem to remember hearing both Bob and Sherwood saying it was "Willy." Hm...

Oh well. A name's a name, no matter who says it.
