Hey Jenny, Yes I know what you mean...He looks so drawn.. you just want to hug him tight and then you want to feed him!!! In the book I'm reading his mother says he lost 40 pounds in 8 months. It shows....

Sad

hey jenny I see what you were talking about
I was 2% happier when I saw him put so more
clothes on. the jeans and that top showed
how much weight he had lost, with the regular
clothes, the only thing that showed was the
thin face. I do not know how much more I can
stand to watch or take. It is too painful
for me to watch I can not take too much,
before I break down.

i would have to say jenny that today's episode was truly sad to watch. the more of these later episodes we watch is going to be even more tough to watch but we must hang in there. the only thing that made this episode less painful to watch is the fact, it was upbeat. he had energy in this one.

My hubby & I were discussing recently that we never noticed when the show was origionally on that there was anything wrong. We both just naturally assumed he as naturally thin. When watching the episodes I never really noticed anything was wrong other than he was unusually thin. But tht was probably cuz I'm so into the episodes & all & having a good laugh at the funny plots. It's sad to see what happened to him...

I agree-when the shows firt aired I think I was just so smitten with Fredie that I never noticed the weight loss and other effects of the drug use. After he died it was too painful to watch the shows anymore. Now that I am older(45) and have more knowledge and a clearer head(not!!) when I watch the shows now I see so much more and it hurts so bad.The weight loss is heartbreaking as is the damage the drugs obviously did to his nose and the fact that he seems to perspire so much which is another sign of cocaine addiction. Unbelievable that nothing could be done-such a sad thing to lose someone so young and talented!!!
It's great to know that there are others out there who feel the same and who still love and admire this great talent and human being!!!Let's all support each other during these last few epidsodes-watching them won't be easy but we all have each other!!
