Question Has this board hit the wall??

Hey everyone...

I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen that the board has lost its drive. There used to be days when I could come in here and have ten new posts. Now, it seems the only thing that is growing is the story/"continuation" that people post to.

I'm not knocking it at all, but it's not my thing. But it seems that people have stopped posting topics and instead just post on occasion, or only post in that "continuation" post.

I guess the "final point" of all this is that I posted a few days back that I had actually found Mindy Cohn. I found her company, her phone number, etc. I posted this in "Needs for my Mindy website" and only had one reply. I figured it was either because no one wanted to talk about it, no one paid attention, or they just didn't care.

Has anyone else recognized this? Is there sometype of motivation to get people to posting again? I would love to bring back more old topics and discuss episodes. Even though I don't have Hallmark, I still have a decent memory and could throw some things out.

Or, what about trivia? Anything?? I really enjoy this board, but it just seems to have slowed way down, and I don't know why... or how to fix it.

No, it's just that a lot of us have homework and some of it takes hours so we don't really have any time to be on the net like we were in summer.

Well, I overall don't post that much, but I do have a lot of homework every night like possibly a lot of other people do. Plus I have tournaments and club meetings. So I can't get on every night. When I do have time to post, I find the same old topics that I really don't have anything to say to. Don't get me wrong I would like to post more.

Well, I think the topics have died down because everybody has already finished up all the conversation. Here's my take on it.

The FOL board has the most posts right? So it sounds like everybody has already discussed the favorite episode and least favorite episode and the hair styles and the "Did you notice that" posts and that's what happens after awhile. Anybody get what I'm saying?

I know this board has a lot of members in school and I know school can eliminate all the free time, and that could be a factor.

Frankly, I still go with my first explanation. I just started regularly visiting the FOL board, and I know I could start new topic after new topic. I'm just not the start a post kind of person like I've mentioned before. I post topics on the TZ and Batman boards, but I don't start many new topics on the other boards.

I post everyday, and I have for a while. I still LOVE FOL with all my heart. The boards have just gone down since FOL went off of n@n. Cause alot of people dont have hallmark, I think they dont want to hear about FOL so they don't post here anymore. I still think that this board is pretty popular, and Im gonna always post on here cause I like the people here and I love FOL.

Yea, also half the posts on here arefights. If we start a new fight, I'm sure this board will be out of control in no time. Too bad LucyFan left, we couldt really have a good fight right about now.

I noticed that too. I wouldnt consider myself a "regular" to this board..but I pop up here everyday or so, and when I first started out, it was post after post after post...I couldnt keep up! Now, I come like every other day, and it hardly changes. I dont get Hallmark but I watched it on N@N and enjoy reading the topics. I have noticed though that the boards I am a regular @ (Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, L&S/HD Fanfic) have actually been getting MORE posts. I agree with Jenny though...it was kinda all done @ once and now theres not too much to say. School is a factor though. Im sure though, with all the new members we get everyday, theres sure to be some FOL fanatics, and theyll be posting a lot.

Hey MilkNpepsi since you like laverne and shirley, do you know which episode shirley is like i can go! to this guy and laverne is trying to tell her that she cant go and she's like "I can't go because.... I coughed on my dress." OMG that is like the funniest thing and I was wondering which episode it was in. Sorry about that everyone, I just had to ask.

Two things... that could have been sent as a private msg, NLS. Second, you can click the checkmark in the box next to Show Signature everytime you post. That way, your signature will show up the first time, but then you can just it off if you repost to the same topic. It's easier to scroll through and find what is going on.

No, I'm not picking on you or anything. I'm just trying to give you a little head's up info for the future.
