MeTV is doing their Svengoolie's Halloween BOO-Nanza event again this year.

Some highlights:

• The Sven Squad takes over Saturday Morning Cartoons with a spooky block Halloween Looney Tunes classics
• Svengoolie’s Double Feature is back with twice the horror and twice the hilarious antics in the crypt
• On Saturday, October 19th, see the premiere of “The House of Svengoolie” as the Sven Squad presents our new horror franchise with a special presentation of “Labyrinth.”
• All month long, we’re treating viewers with Halloween inspired episodes of MeTV classics throughout the schedule.

Why is the bulk of the Halloween programming overnight on Saturdays? Lame. I miss when they'd dedicate daytime hours to most of it like two years ago and back.

Looks like the same thing they did last year. Gave us marathons of Kolchak, Sventoonie and Twilight Zone during Saturday overnights. Double Feature episodes of Svengoolie.

Only difference is this year it looks they're finally testing out the new successors with House of Sven as the main hosts.

I noticed the movies that they're hosting are from the 80s. I guess its to reflect the generational switch.

Overall the schedule is not impressive and its going to be sad day when Rich Koz finally retires

Small weekday schedule change starting 10/7.

6AM will now be Adam-12, replacing Dragnet (which will still be on at 5:30AM.)
5PM will now be Emergency!, replacing an hour of Adam-12 (which will still be on during the 6AM hour.)

Emergency! is coming back to MeTV? Wow, I thought I’d never see that show on the channel again.

Same. I can still remember the "going away" commercial they did for it. I guess MeTV was true to their word, Emergency! was just going on a vacation and now its back. Hopefully this means The Rockford Files can return as well. They had a vacation commercial too.

That was one long vacation. Maybe we will soon see Columbo back on Sundays.
