Good Times Times Fans who had better ideas than the Good Times Writers! 😀💡🤔

A fan said something like,"For The Big Move Part 1, Florida should have gotten a phone call from James's job and have a big smile on her face saying something like,"We've been getting calls all day telling us good luck and congratulating us. This must be another good luck and congratulations phone call. " Florida picks up the phone and cheerfully says,"Hello?" Still smiling. Her face turns to complete horror and shock and she says,"No, no no!"

She numbly thanks the caller and hangs up the phone. Thelma, JJ, Michael, Willona, and the rest of the partygoers are immediately concerned. Florida numbly says," James was killed in a car accident!" Everyone else gasps in horror and shock. This phone call would have been way better than a Telegram which was already outdated by the 70's."

Fans said that the Writers should have had James tell Florida in The Windfall episode that he won the roughly extra $2,000 from playing pool. He should have known she wouldn't be okay with him taking some of the robbery money, but would be fine with him winning it by playing pool.

Fans said that JJ went overboard by showering the Evans with luxurious gifts from the money that he got from his lucrative but illegal job. They said the Writers should have had JJ just pay the rent and the utilities, and buy ONE luxurious gift like a new TV.

Fans said that the Writers should have had JJ Manage a real spark of a White Woman who could sing REALLY well instead of someone frumpy and wallflower like Judy Cohen. They said the Good Times Audience might have been REALLY receptive to a sparky White Woman who could sing Soul like Janis Joplin. They said something like,"If JJ was managing someone like Janis Joplin, it would have fit the story much better than some frumpy wallflower like Judy Cohen.

Fans said that the Writers should have had Thelma say to Ray when Ray was trying to force himself on her, "Ray, please don't do this. My Mother or worse, WILLONA could come home any second."

Some Fans felt that The Bank Mural should have had a Mural of a park with a bench in it or a line of people dressed in formal clothes to get money from the bank and felt that JJ's Mural depicting people dancing in a nightclub was kind of ghetto for a BANK and actually AGREED with the uptight Bank Manager who didn't want to pay JJ for a Mural of people dancing in a nightclub and felt JJ's Mural would have been better suited for a bar or something like that, and inappropriate for a BANK.

Fans said that the Writers should have had Penny run outside of the apartment and questioned why she tried to go to her room when her Mother threatened her with the iron.

Fans said that the Writers should have had Willona be suspicious of Jeffrey apparently showering Penny with an inappropriate nightgown for a CHILD and dumped him on the spot, thinking he was a pedophile.

Fans had so much better ideas than the Good Times Crew made! 💡🤔😀
