Catchy Comedy channel to do a Honeymooners binge marathon on 10/5-10/6

10/5-10/6: The Honeymooners/The Lost Honeymooners

This one kicks off with a couple of specials: Jackie Gleason Genius at Work, and The Jackie Gleason Show: "The Honeymooners - Away We Go."

I wonder by Away We Go, if they will show the 1987 VHS release that was called Away We Go? I have that one. However it contains nothing but PD footage which includes the Honeymooners sketch Ring Salesman which may prove that those Pert sketches were discovered in 1987 or so.

And/or maybe they will show the Honeymooners sketch “Away We Go” and the rest of the Trip to Europe/Africa story arc.

If they are showing that, the correct title is the Second Honeymoon.

Here's the promo for the Binge. Looks like that is what they're showing. They must have gotten confused by them putting "And Away We Go" on screen during the opening credits.

It is also significant, since it would be the first time this special has aired on broadcast tv since the 70s. I wonder if they will air the 70s Christmas specials in a few months.

My mom has been a fan of The Honeymooners forever and she was very lucky to catch this Catchy Comedy The Honeymooners marathon and she liked it a lot. Mom even has some of The Honeymooners Lost Episodes DVDs as well
