Atom Ant
I was watching METV Toons on Frindly TV and noticed that they carry a Hanna-Barbera cartoon that possibly came out in the 60's called Atom Ant and I would like to know more about it? In addition to Atom Ant it has two other episodes with other Hanna-Barbera characters. Was Atom Ant one of Hanna-Barbera's little-known hits or was it well-liked by fans when it debuted?

Atom Ant debuted on NBC's Saturday Morning lineup in September 1965. Voiced by Howard Morris, his catchphrase was "Up and Atom, Atom Ant!" Also on the show were the cartoons The Hillbilly Bears and Precious Pupp.
A Hanna-Barbera Production, the show returned for a second season as part of The Atom Ant and Secret Squirrel Show. I remember the TV Guide listing as "Ant/Squirrel." |
