I was wondering if anyone knew whatever happened to Freddie's best buddy in New York, Nat Blake ? or what he is doing now

I haven't the slightest idea of Nat's whereabouts, I've been wondering about him myself. I also wonder if he and Freddie had still been in contact prior to his (Freddie) death.

In the CAN YOU HEAR THE LAUGHTER movie it acts like when Freddie went to the Jimmy Carter inaugeration that they wouldn't let Nat in & Nat thought Freddie was ignoring him. I don't think that was the case. I think if they didn't let him in that the secuirty goofed & didn't know that Freddie wanted him there. I bet if Freddie had known about that he would've been very mad. I'd sure love to know what Nat is up to these days & his insights on Freddie. I bet he could tell us some neat stuff.

I tried searching for him & all I could come up with is these 2 people. I wonder if one of them is him?

Nat Blake was originally a New Yorker, and it's possible he may have moved by this time. Hm, I'll look too...

There are 20 N. Blakes listed in the New york area, including two Nathans and a Nathaniel. Perhpas one of them may be freddie's pal
