In the spirit of bringing bulletin board readers what they want, please choose from the following:
a.) Freddie with moustache b.) Freddie without moustache (See picture at www.freddie-prinze.com.) Click on "Looking Good." You may have to scroll down a bit to see the picture. [This message has been edited by Flora (edited 04-01-2001).] |

The one without the mustache is really cute. He looks so young, sweet & innocent. I think I saw that one somewhere yrs ago somewhere. It looks familiar. Must've been when he first started out. I noticed he doesn't looks as hispanic in it.
The one on the album cover is good too. They should've had a big pic of him tho instead of the picture of the Mexican or Egyptian scuplture pyramids thing. The moustacheless pic is the best one on the page. The others don't show up as well or show up as clear... |

I can't vote in favor of either one--in the one without the mustache he is too chubby, and I love mustaches! In the other picture on that page, Freddie only has a few weeks to live (it's from New Years Eve 1976-77), and he looks like it--soooo thin. I much prefer the sexy autographed pic on the home page of the Loooking Goood site--check it out!

It's hard to tell. There is only one moustache-less picture of Freddie (as an adult) that I've seen, but he looks absolutely adorable!!! But I looked at it again, and he seems awful young there-like 17 or 18, maybe. (Does anyone know when that pic was taken?) I'll have to say I prefer him with the moustache. (I wonder what he woulda looked like with a beard?)

Oh no no no--no beard! He had too strong a chin, and the dimples might have been obscured! My husband prefers to wear a beard, but I hate it for similar reasons.

Cheryl,
I agree he looks less Hispanic without the moustache -- more Hungarian, even! (Yay for Hungarians!) I wonder if he grew the moustache for the Chico role? |

I would always choose the moustache! He looked good in it. - Now his son looks good without the moustache.

No, Flora, I don't think he just grew the mustache for CATM--I believe he already had it before that. I guess he just realized that it made him look more grown-up and sexier! LOL!

I Love Freddies moustache. If he had a beard like my husband's it might not be so bad. His is short and just on his chin. My son wears his the same way. It doesn't hide their dimples. But I'm not sure it would look good on Freddie. Their both very fairskinned an have different features than Freddie. But I LOVE moustaches on guys and Freddie is no exception.

I wonder how Freddie would have "updated" his look ... can't think of any way he could have improved!

I do like him with the moustache too. But my favorite pics with the moustaches aren't the ones on the page you listed but on some other sites I've found.
Actually my interest in Chico & the program is different than say most fan interests. Altho when I was young I used to drool over stars & want to marry them etc, being married now I don't dream of marrying them or kissing them LOL! due to being married. I still see cute ones & think they're cute & yum etc. cuz I'm not braindead LOL! I still collect on my favorite stars & enjoy them. it's a hobby to me like stamp collecting. Altho I've enjoyed the show (CHICO) from the first day it was on tv, I wasn't really a Chico Freddie fan altho I thought he looked nice & was nice & never really collected on him. When the FANDEMONIUM marathon came on, I watched it & enjoyed watching the show from then on. Here lately tho, is when I have really gotten into it. My interest in Chico for some reason is selective which may sound weird. I don't dream of kissing him or anything but enjoy watching the show & think he's a nice looking guy. Well, I'm not dreaming of kissing any stars I like anyway LOL! Guess cuz I'm married. I don't really collect on him but I have saved on my computer some of the pics I've really liked of him. For some strange reason, it's like on the show & some certain pics of him I've seen I think he looks really good in & really love those pics but in other pics I don't like them as good & they don't do a thing for me. Weird. Right now I'm not really interested in collecting a bunch of stuff on him. It's like he's cute & I enjoy him on the show & some stuff on him on the internet & some pics-- just being selective in what I like. I know it's weird LOL! & when I watch the show I tend to really laugh at the funny stuff LOL! Even weirder still my hubby has the same color hair & a moustache except he's short & bigger than Chico-Freddie. I find myself thinking that if he were hispanic & younger & skinnier, he'd look kinda like Chico. Anyway, I think it's great there is interesting in him & the show again. Hoping they'll move the show to a more normal time. Watching the show & Chico is fun!

(re: updated look)I always thought it was interesting how police artists can age missing persons. I wonder if anyone as thought how to computer age Freddie to see what he might look like today? On second thought, I think I would rather leave that up to my own imagination.

Hey Luckymama--here we go again! I've been thinking the same thing!!! LOL! I wish somebody with visual artistic talent among us would give such a portrait a try and post it somewhere! I DO have an imagination, of course, but I'd just like to have something concrete to drool over--something to compensate for my guilt at lusting over a 22 year old! If he were alive he'd be closer to OUR age, right Luckymama?
