Post Is Dallas currently on TV?

I'm pretty sure it isn't, but if it is... what channel?

And if it isn't... when will it be coming back? JT? Pavanbadal? Someone must know!

Thank you.

It does not currently air on any channels, though I think it would fit in on SoapNet since it's spinoff airs on there too. The last time itw as on national TV was on TNN before it dropped their country line up.

I wouldn't be surprised if "Dallas" hit TVLand on April 2, 2002 for the show's 25th anniversary (it premiered on April 2, 1978). TNN, N@N, and TVLand all circulate the same shows, so it's a good possibility, and a great thing to dream about. (a weeklong marathon with two episodes each night would be nice)

Okay, so TVLand could air the show if they wanted to?

And I think they need to show "JR Returns" also.

They could if Viacom still has the rights to it or is renewing it.

Yep.

But I'm betting SOAPnet will pick it up once Viacom loses the rights, if they haven't already. They picked up Dynasty, so it's only left to be assumed Dallas will be next.

Pav,
Do you have any idea when Viacom loses the rights to Dallas? Or have they already?

Aww man Dallas brings back memories. I used to also watch this show with my mom when i was a kid. My mom loved Dallas. I heard they're gonna be making a movie about Dallas that's coming to theatres. They're gonna get Tommy Lee Jones to play JR Ewing i think. I saw Larry Hagman not too long ago on Entertainment Tonight talking about his life & how he had a serious drinking problem after he left Dallas. He also wrote a book. Was Dallas really filmed in Dallas? I also remember the guy who played Bobby on Dallas? What's his real name? I think his first name is Patrick. I saw him on that tv show with Suzanne Somers, what's the name of it?

The name of the sitcom was Step By Step. His last name is Duffy. Step by Step repeats currently air on ABC Family, it airs at 11:00AM.
